World Food Safety Day 2019

On June 7, 2019, the Department of Food Safety (Ministry of Health) and Grab (via GrabFood platform) launched a series of meaningful events to welcome the World Food Safety Day for the first time in Vietnam. The event was organized with support from the World Health Organization (WHO).

Accordingly, the first World Food Safety Day was approved by the United Nations General Assembly in December 2018 and set to be held on June 7, 2019. WHO, along with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), encourages member countries to cooperate to respond to this year's World Food Safety Day and in the coming years.
