More than 500 local and international delegates who are attending the Global Environment Facility (GEF) meeting on June 26 in Da Nang participated in the program "Together Saving the Ocean 2018" along with the citizens. VietnamEvent was honored to organize this community event.
The event was co-organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and GEF. Attending the event were Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Vo Tuan Nhan.

The event was organized with the message: For a blue ocean; for an ocean without plastic waste; for the future, make the sea cleaner; bring the plastic back to the recycling place; the ocean of life, protect the life of the ocean; plastic waste management in ocean.
Accordingly, from early morning on June 26 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Beach, Danang, all delegates joined with members of the youth union, groups and people to clean up the beach and coastal road. At the same time, they planted an Australian pine tree to stop waves.
