From 8 - 15 November 2019, at Le Club Bar - Metropole Hanoi Hotel, Poland Embassy in Hanoi organized the event "Polish Gastronomy Week" to introduce traditional dishes of Poland with the participation of Ola Nguyen - the champion of Vietnamese Polish MasterChef.
The event "Polish Gastronomy Week" features a popular Central European cuisine with a 5-course menu with traditional flavors.
Appetizers are two traditional Polish soups. The first is the unique Chłodnik cold soup made from young beets, milk mushrooms, cucumbers, beetroot juice, lemon juice, dill and shallots. The second appetizer is Zurek - a sour soup often eaten at Easter, made from fermented rye flour, boiled pork sausages, vegetables, boiled eggs, dried mushrooms and signature spices. .
The main dish is pork cutlet served with Silesia dumplings, red fruit sauce and rosemary. Next is the Ruthen dumplings with Caramel onions. Dessert will be apple pie with vanilla ice cream, made from top export ingredients of Poland. The 5-course menu is served with a Dried Fruit compound drink of strawberries, raspberries and pears.
