On November 26, 2022, in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Vietnam and Indiana University (USA), organized the Local Development Dialogue Forum 2022 with the theme "Culture, Tourism, and Local Development”.

The forum honorably hosted the presence of Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Nguyen Xuan Thang, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Nguyen Van Hung, Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, Phan Viet Cuong, representatives who are leaders of more than 50 provinces and cities, and domestic and foreign experts. The delegates engaged in discussions to identify problems and solutions for developing the cultural and tourism industry associated with local development.
