Incidents that may occur during the event


1. Event equipment

Whether you organize big concert with  enormous lighting and sound system, or you’re planning some tents with simple audio system, there always been problems. 
Those problems will come from power supply, installing places, truss … Even when everything is in right place, you also need to consider whether electricity wires could prevent people from walking or not? Or this equipment installation could be damaged by wheather. 

2. Crowd Management

The most essential part of the event is people. People is the key factor of any event. However, a large crowd can lead to numerous problems. Besides managing the number of people come in and get out of the event, let try to control the crowd at the venue. Planning this will help you remain the exciting atmosphere avoid being to panicked:
 
How are the entrances and exit at your event? Do they have problems ? 
 
- Do you have signage to guide and manage the flow of people at the event?
 
- In emergencies, what are the plans for entry / exits and how will they work in emergencies?
 
- If there were incidents, such as harassement, what would you do? 

3. Children in the event

This is an extremely important issue that you need to keep in mind. If many children attend your evetn, you need to consider the possible risks and necessary precautions. These include managing lost children and how to notify their parents to bring them ; Risks at playground or any children spot. You need to have staff constantly check everything around the playground to ensure the safety of children. 

4. Vehicles management

When organizing an event, the risk related to equipment transportation, supplier's F&B ... or the means of transportation of the attendees is one of the things you also need to consider. What is the capacity of the parking lot? Is the entrance convenient? How many car dispatchers should be arranged in the right area? Take time to plan for this issue, evaluate the probable possibilities around and come up with appropriate resolution plans to create the rhythm in the organization as well as the comfort of attendees. 

5. Safety for staff and volunteers

In order for the event to go well, you need to ensure the safety of the attendees and make them unforgettable moments. However, the staff working in the event is also an important factor to make an effective program.
 
Ensuring the safety of your team members is extremely important and you need to know the risks that may occur to them. This can happen during carrying equipment, navigating vehicles during the event or when dealing with extremist crowd.
 
So, discuss with the your group and think about possible scenarios. By this way, you will prepare appropriate solutions for team members. When it comes to difficult situation, discussing with your teammate, they will think of the solution for you.
